DAM 999 movie is a sail of a mariner from maritime industry to Hollywood. Being one of the most expected movie of 2010, DAM 999 has been a talk of people worldwide months ago. Whole maritime Industry and movie buffs are waiting for this movie to be released.
The movie revolves around a dilapidated dam built by the British during their colonial days in India, reached its expiry. Corrupt politics sways away the danger and manages to turn the outdated dam into a trump card for their victory. 9 char
acters of 9 different human emotions based on the concept of 'Navarasas' drives the movie. Like a Dam, each character holds back their emotions. Eventually the dam gives away, replicating the worst man-made disaster witnessed in the human history along with a gripping climax that shadows the 9 characters. The story reveals the concealed truth of India's age old myths and science, considered superstitious by many.
